Area destined to produce and spread information relating to International Cooperation heading towards Argentina, with the aim of generating resources for the different actors that participate in the process of Development Cooperation -particularly, State, NGOs, public and private donors-.

Optimizing International Cooperation Project: towards a strategic focus for Argentina

This initiative is based on the need of strengthen a public and social institutionality to the design and implementation of policies focused on results, that allow to optimize International Cooperation resources destined to Argentina.

From this premise, the project proposes to initiate a strategic line of action and thought that points to strengthen the accountability mechanisms and domestic transparency in matter of utilization and provision of International Cooperation resources.

To face this challenge, activities are going to be developed tending to:

  1. generate accessible quantitative and qualitative information in matter of International Cooperation: official development assistance (ODA) and private donations and;
  2. Increment the technical capacity of public actors and control capacity of civil society to the systematization and management of the produced information.
  3. One of the main products of this Project is the construction and update of a database that will allow observing International Cooperation flows towards Argentina from the year 2000 to nowadays.

Information for International Cooperation in social, political, economic, humanitarian, cultural, environmental situation of the Argentina from the perspective of non-governmental organizations in Argentina’s civil society. 
An integral approach to the social problems –as the result of collective action- RACI produces trustworthy and clear information based on the fieldwork of each member organization that is part of the network. From this program they aim to the systematization and standardization of the information produced daily by the CSOs members to facilitate identifying solutions and potential action plans.

It looks to carry out a needs diagram of our country while respecting the geographical diversities, the different levels of human development, economic, cultural and social composition, of the populations as well as the health and environmental conditions, from the perspective of the work of the civil society organizations.
